Footage from Mos Def and Jay Electronica Concert

I already posted the video of Mos Def performing Billie Jean but I have some more videos too.  This was one of the greatest shows I have ever been to if not the best. Up top is Jay Electronica performing Dimethyltriptamine and after the jump I got a lil explanation of the show, another vid of Jay and 2 of Mos.

Jay Electronica was very impressive ending most of his songs acapella but not just the last line or two, he would finish full verses just doing spoken word.  It was really fun, he was crackin jokes the whole time interacting with the audience whenever he could.  Mos Def performed for close to an hour and 45 minutes which was really cool, he did a mixture of playing the drums (which I unfortunately have no footage of), covering old soul classics, and performing songs from all of his major studio albums including Black Star!  I had seen both these artists before at Rock The Bells but it was a very different environment in a small venue and they each had long sets.  If you get the chance, go see them at some point!
