I really like this interview. When he talks about the contrasting music and subject matter as a way to open up some barriers do you think it’s just the corporate world of music? I kind of think that a lot of his conscious fans appreciate it too for other reasons. I think it’s powerful in another way that he isn’t mentioning here but I’m having trouble trying to put my finger on what exactly that is.
Haha well I think fans appreciate Lupe’s music because he’s a great MC. His wordplay, rhythm, rhymes, flow and voice are up there with any other artists this decade.
