My Grandmas Basement is Jarren’s first official album with label Funk Volume and features label mates Hopsin, Dizzy Wright and SwizZz as well as Vinnie Paz, RA The Ruggedman and more.

The SMKA team, Kato & 808 Blake, produced a majority of the album and spent the past 8+ months in the studio with Jarren to perfect the sound – and overall direction – of his first studio album. Kato is the albums’ executive producer and in addition to producing most of the tracks, he is responsible for recording, mixing and mastering My Grandmas Basement… if you don’t like the project, you can blame Kato.
