Here is what he had to say, “Aside from rhyming, I often make beats on the side…I wouldn’t call myself a producer, or even a beatmaker though. The reason being, most of my work consists of repeated 4-bar loops, more often than not without basslines! So I’d prefer to call myself a “Loop Technician”, hence the title Loop Playback. My “Loop Technician” name has always been Jimmy The Bang? (the question mark is a rhetorical one)… Either way, enjoy my collection of loops that I placed in chronological order (Early Evening was created in 2005 and Sleep Pattern in 2010)”

Nobody Famous Prepares the Release of New Project: Life & Times of Reggie

Nobody Famous will release a collection of favorite songs he’s produced over the past several years on a mixtape entitledThe Life and Times of Reggie on February 23, 2012. The project is presented by Kevin Nottingham and hosted on DJBooth and includes a collections of songs featuring hip hop artists Dom Kennedy, Donnis, Wax, Raven Sorvino, Kyle Lucas, Andy Milonokis, Sene and producer/artist Nobody Famous himself.

To accompany the mixtape, Nobody Famous has created an animated, online mini-series exploring real life experiences he’s had working with different artists over the years. Catch those below.
