So this has been bothering me for quite some time now and despite a little bit of internet digging, I haven’t seen anybody else mention this instance of beat jacking. Kid Cudi’s first mixtape A Kid Named Cudi features a very nice track with John Legend called “50 Ways To Make A Record”, only problem is that the song bares an eerie resemblance to Andre Nickatina’s track “Last Breath Of An MC” albeit they both sample Paul Simon’s “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover”
