So first off I just gotta say, like Ben, I am in the middle of midterms right now so I apologize for the slack. I thought I would take a break from studying though to do a post for you guys. I think at least a couple of us have been sitting on this guy for a while, but I think it’s about time we gave him some real estate on Da Wh@t. Theophilus London is one of those emcees who show the game is changing. Even if he doesn’t blow up, which I think he will, putting his name on the list of current emcees just shows us that that conscious shit has got momentum going. In fact, he reminds me a lot of a young Lupe Fiasco, pulling off both a smooth sound and a super flyyyy style. London also brings a little bit of an edge which might give everybody else a run for their money. He again shows us that Brooklyn emcees are always on top of the game, ready to fuse the right mix of old school flavor with new school class. I can’t wait for more to drop from him, but for now enjoy this freestyle, as well as downloads of that aforementioned single Enjoy the Sun and his mixtape This Charming Mixtape.
