Los Angeles based producer and rapper Kidd Upstairs unwraps his latest piece of audio candy with“Lollipop Blunts”, the second single off of his street album KVSHMIR which was released August 27th via AudioMack.  After seeing recent success with “A La Mode”“Turtles”, and“Amanda Bynes”, there seems to be no slowing down for this California emcee.

“Lollipop Blunts” is about – surprise, surprise – blunts, of the sweetest variety.  Kidd has no preference of how his weed tastes, as he openly admits he has to get high out of necessity, but meets the softer side of chiefing kush when he comes across a woman who only wants to smoke decadent tasting strains.  These two sides are represented by the simple, hard reality of the first verse that later connects with a more melodic second verse laced over a Kirk Knight production.

Alluding to the classic Tootsie Pop commercial, Kidd Upstairs wants to know, how many hits does it take to get you lit?  Roll one up to “Lollipop Blunts” and see what happens, we promise it’ll be a sweet combination.
