Kidd Upstairs – Stalker (Remix) [Instrumental]

Kidd Upstairs flexes his producer muscles on his dark interpretation of Lykke Li‘s “I Follow Rivers,” touching on the not-so-romantic side of following someone.  “All of the remixes out there seemed to be mostly club remixes,” Kidd says.  “I always found her vocals to be haunting, and wanted to play with that, adding several different parts beneath.”

Kidd seems to be quite a fan of Lykke Li’s voice – he also sampled her for the chorus of his breakout hit, “DMNDS.”  Kidd continues to explore his creative side as we wait for the release of KVSHMIR II in May.
