The World’s First Hip-Hop Mentoring Magazine. Hip-Hop University: Profile Hip-Hop University (HHU) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, that teaches and mentors through the hip-hop culture. We focus on Mathematics, English, life skills, character development, youth leadership, youth and civic engagement, music production, rapping, graffiti and breakdancing. HHU offers these services in schools during the school day, after school, and in community settings. HHU uses the hip-hop culture and media arts as tools through which to empower young men and women as respected members of the community, while improving their standardized test scores and fostering their well-being as individuals.
