Gucci Mane Teams up With Al Pacino, James Franco and More For New Film, “The Trap”

Nobody has been busier the last few months than Gucci Mane following his release from prison after serving two years. The Atlanta rapper just revealed his newest and seemingly most ambitious project, a role in a feature film.

The film, titled “The Trap”, will see Gucci star alongside Al Pacino, Benicio del Toro and James Franco. Little else is known about the movie, which will be his second endeavor into the world of film after appearing in 2013’s Spring Breakers. In a recent interview in GQ Gucci revealed “I love to act…It was great experience being in Spring Breakers, and it was just the beginning”.

Gucci had another recent date with a camera, being featured in a new commercial for Supreme that was shot entirely in his own Atlanta home. It was directly by his close friend and past collaborator Harmony Korine, who will also have a hand in the making of “The Trap”.
