It’s been a tremendous year for the young Kweku Collins who released his debut LP Nat Love back in April. The album, which saw critical acclaim from Pitchfork, Fader, Noisey, Stereogum, KCRW, Hot New Hip Hop, MTV among many others, is now being issued as a vinyl release due December 16th via Chicago hip-hop label Closed Sessions. To celebrate the release he’s just dropped a new song “jump.i”, his first track since Nat Love, and a video for it via Complex. The video, directed by Cody LaPlant, starts with “Rain That Wouldn’t Save” (Kweku’s favorite record off Nat Love) prior to going into the new track; almost a transition from Nat Love and 2016 into 2017 for what will be his biggest year yet.
