Chris McClenney – Portrait In Two [EP]

From the EP opener, a prologue “Consciousness,” to the project’s finish on instrumental number “Awake,” McClenney showcases his expertise at a number of genres ranging from jazz, R&B, funk, and electronic. For long-time fans of McClenney, “Portrait In Two” represents an evolution from the producer / DJ roots he has become renowned for, and marks a transformation into a full-fledged musician. However, McClenney still appeals to his electronic music roots with the release of two remixes, “Tell Me” and “Pearl,” released in addition to “Portrait In Two.”
