Now this is dope!

LaunchDon, a music industry insider group, devoted to advancing unsigned musical careers, today announces the release of the industry’s first question & answer platform designed to provide unsigned talent acts advice, on a case-by-case basis. The LaunchDon.com platform fields questions from all members of the unsigned music community – artists, DJ’s, sound engineers, producers or management – and provides custom-tailored feedback based off of industry best practices. By examining user’s body of work, geographic location and social media presence, among other variables, LaunchDon.com servies as the world’s first and only digital resource to provide customized, context-rich career guidance.

“LaunchDon is the #1 resource for the music industry. We believe we represent ‘innovation & collaboration’ to its fullest.” said LaunchDon CEO, Neiman Samuel. The platform also features the LaunchDon Aca demy, an unparalleled knowledge base that provides coursework covering production, promotion, team building and monetization. The academy consists of videos and other digital resources that delivers artist, producers, managers and other industry participants “how to’s” that help establish the strongest foundation to build a career in the industry. “At it’s core, it’s about providing professionals the guidance and resources they couldn’t get before; we want to give the talented underdogs an even playing field. Achieving success within current state of the music industry comes with high barriers of entry. We ultimately want to disrupt the way new music is made, discovered and distributed.”

In the months following the platform’s roll out, LaunchDon will be working to partner with additional music industry influencers to help solve the bigger and broader hurdles faced by today’s unsigned artists. LaunchDon was founded 2014 in Houston, Texas by Neiman Samuel, a talent manager and executive producer, Rudy Sutherland III, an A&R executive and music critic, Glenn Gutierrez, the company’s chief technologist and Rohit Joshi, a published media journalist and marketing consultant.
