Trading boasts over lilting acoustic guitars and snapping snares, Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa hit the beach in “Brand New.” Directed by Gabriel Hart and premiered by GQ, who called the track a “4-minute vacation,” “Brand New” is a visual feast, finding the two emcees showing off their collection of Porsches, stunting in color coordinated parlor rooms, and, in one memorable sequence, riding palm trees into outer space. The latest high-profile collaboration by the two Taylor Gang labelmates, who previously combined for hits like “Or Nah” and “Sucker For Pain,” “Brand New” is the latest video from October’s label mixtape TGOD Vol. 1, released in conjunction with Taylor Gang’s announcement of a new deal withAtlantic Records. Featuring appearances from the label’s entire roster, including label vets like Juicy J and Chevy Woods, and newcomers such as J.R. Donato and Sosamann, TGOD Vol. 1 demonstrates why Taylor Gang is one of the most successful labels and brand names in Hip-Hop today.

After reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with the megahit “See You Again” (2.3 billion views on YouTube), Wiz Khalifa made his mark in 2016 with an appearance on Suicide Squad soundtrack hit “Sucker For Pain” (300 million streams on Spotify) and Khalifa, his fourth release with Atlantic Records. Featuring lead single “Bake Sale” featuring Travi$ Scott (55 million streams on Spotify), Khalifa was Wiz’s fourth consecutive Billboard Top 10 debut. Riding the momentum from his 2015 debut album Free T.C.and the multi-platinum hits “Blasé (feat. Future & Rae Sremmurd)” and “Saved (ft. E-40),” Ty Dolla $ign spent 2016 as one of the music industry’s most in demand feature artists, appearing on hits such as “Sucker For Pain” and Fifth Harmony’s #1, 4x-Platinum smash hit “Work From Home,” which took home trophies at the 2016 American Music Awards, the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, and 2016 Teen Choice Awards. Ty also followed up Free T.C. with Campaign, his latest mixtape, featuring appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Future, Migos, Travis Scott, Trey Songz, Meek Mill, and others.
