Rome Fortune kicked off 2017 with a bang, releasing two new collaborations with Toro Y Moi to start the year and promising even more creative output to follow. He follows up in fine style with the music video for “Blicka Blicka,” revisiting a standout track from his deeply personal Jerome Raheem Fortune LP on Fool’s Gold. The Anthony Supreme-directed clip is a surreal slice of Americana, featuring Rome rapping from a dreamlike, decrepit trailer park: This is my intuition / and it says I shouldn’t be pigeonholed / they said that this shit would be difficult / to make it I needed a miracle / but I didn’t, I did it without you / what ‘chu think I would amount to?
