After hitting #1 on the college charts with his last single “Made In Maryland”, Substantial’s next single off his album The Past Is Always Present in the Future has the PG County emcee reworking his song “Black of All Trades” from his Always EP over a production by The Other Guys off their album After The 9 to 5. Look for the video to drop soon!
The B-Side to this single is the buttery smooth “In My Daughter’s Eyes” featuring fellow HiPNOTT recording artist JSOUL singing the hook. This is one of two new tracks on the album produced by Washington DC-based producer and drummer Jon Laine
Both tracks can be found on Substantial’s latest album, The Past Is Always Present In The Future, which is available now on compact disc and cassette, and via all digital retailers.
